Hi, I am Lauren!
I have 7+ years of professional teaching experience. I have worked as a primary resource special education teacher, 2nd grade teacher, and I have also led center based programing for affective needs and autism spectrum disorder classrooms. I am an advocate for trauma informed schools and child welfare. I have taught in the state of Colorado for 6+ years and I spent 1 year teaching in Austin, TX.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Services from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. I also hold a Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction: 21st Century Pedagogy from the University of Colorado Denver. In addition to that, I maintain certifications in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention and Restorative Practices. I have spent many years studying post traumatic stress disorder, somatic therapy, internal family systems, healing modalities, leadership, business, marketing, curriculum development and instructional practices.
I have used all of these skills to create this meaningful, intensive, life changing mentorship program for you!
